Most mental health providers assist the patient(s) with the process of gaining interpersonal awareness, but do not specialize in both the emotional and physical aspects of intimacy. Alternatively, most intimacy coaches do not specialize in the psychodynamic underpinnings of human attachment and resulting relational dynamics. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment that allows couples or individuals to address issues, questions, and concerns pertaining to sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. My therapeutic modalities include (but are not limited to): Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy depending upon the unique needs of the patient(s) and/or the desired outcome.
As seen above in the photo excerpts from the movie, Hope Springs (2012), the process of building (or rebuilding) an intimate relationship can be difficult and challenging. However, it is my personal experience that the outcome can be life altering in a very positive way. It is my honor & privilege to gently guide you through this journey.
